Table of contents:

Anonim

Ingredients:
400 g of minced pork
1 pinch of curry
50 g bacon
½ onion
½ cup apple cider vinegar
150g sugar
2 cm ginger root
1 cinnamon stick
Salt
Colored pepper
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 apples
8 mini buns
A few leaves of thyme

We confess it: the mini hamburger canapes have us exhausted. They have no more mystery than making hamburgers and placing them on mini buns.

The sophisticated touch is provided by the accompaniment: an apple chutney, which is a super simple jam-like condiment to make and interchangeable with many other sauces or jams.

And since the main ingredient is hamburgers, it is a type of canapé that young and old love. Success assured!

How to do it step by step

  1. Prepare the burgers. To make the mini burgers, mix the meat together with the onion (peeled and minced) and the bacon (cut into small cubes). Then, add salt and pepper, add a few drops of olive oil and knead with your hands. Finally, form about eight mini hamburgers, and reserve in the refrigerator.
  2. Make the apple chutney. To make this seasoning, first peel the apples, remove the core, and dice them. Then marinate them with the sugar and vinegar for about 5 minutes. Then add the spices, grated ginger, and salt. And finally, heat over medium heat for approximately 30 minutes, stirring from time to time.
  3. Assemble the canapés. Once you have the chutney done, fry the mini burgers for about 3 minutes on each side. Serve them on the mini rolls with a little apple chutney on top and a few washed leaves of fresh thyme.

Any ideas

  • If you like it more, you can also make the chutney with pears in the same way . And if you don't want to waste so much time doing it, keep in mind that they sell packaged chutney in many establishments, or that you can also substitute it for a jam or a pepper, tomato, plum jam …
  • And if there is a vegetarian among the guests, the solution is to also make vegetarian versions: with mini soy or seitan burgers, or with falafel (chickpea or fava paste meatball), for example.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A LOT OF TIME

You can go from making the dough for the burgers and the prepared ones. This saves you extra time. And more if you substitute the chutney for a jam already made.
