Ingredients:
250 g white chocolate
100g dried cranberries
100 g of pistachios
6 dried apricots

If you are tired of lifelong nougat or if you want to try making a homemade one, which is easy and original, here is the recipe for a white chocolate nougat with pistachios, blueberries and dried apricots, which never disappoints … and always probe.

Yes, that's right … A true delight for the palate that will leave your guests speechless, as well as eager to taste it.

How to do it step by step

  1. Prepare the nuts. On the one hand, it peels the pistachios and completely removes the skin shell that covers them. On the other, cut the dried apricots into very small cubes. And leave the dried blueberries as they are.
  2. Melt the chocolate. Chop the chocolate and place it in a saucepan in a double boiler. Stir slowly with a spoon until the chocolate is completely melted.
  3. Make the base. Take a rectangular mold, preferably silicone or lined with waxed paper. At the base of the mold, distribute three-quarters of the pistachios, blueberries and dried apricots. And reserve the rest.
  4. Make the nougat. Pour the melted white chocolate into the mold, completely covering the nuts. Then sprinkle the rest of the fruits that you had reserved over the entire surface, and let it cool down to room temperature. Once it has solidified, remove the nougat from the mold and cut it into portions on a board.

ALTERNATIVES

If you don't like white chocolate, substitute milk chocolate or dark chocolate instead. You can also change the nuts for others that you have on hand or that you like more. And if you want to give it a more sophisticated touch, marinate the chopped blueberries and dried apricots in the liquor of your choice.
