Mary turiel's reflection that explains the meaning of one of her tattoos

Anonim

We can get tattoos for many things: for mere aesthetics and design, for fashion, as a tribute to someone important to us (our partner, our best friend, our children, a special person who is gone …), to to mark a special date, to engrave in ink the mantra that governs our lives, to always carry an unforgettable moment or place on the surface … And also, as Mery Turiel has shown on Instagram, we can tattoo our great fear , to so be able to beat it.

The influencer, who in addition to her looks, inspires us on Instagram with texts and reflections that invite us to think, this time shared with her more than 750,000 followers one of her biggest fears: airplanes. Although it is strange for someone who, because of their work, is 'forced' to travel continuously, Mery Turiel has confessed that she has a panic to fly, and has told it by showing one of the tattoos that decorate her body: the silhouette of an airplane that looks on his left forearm.

Apparently, Mery Turiel's fear of flying is relatively recent, and it started with a bad experience, as she explains on Instagram. "One day I had a bad flight in which I came to think that I would not write this right now because I would not be directly in this world. And it is that once up there, and in the situation I had, I realized that an airplane is a lottery. When you're on a flight, you lose control over what happens . " Around this idea, the influencer offers us an exercise in self-knowledge that, she says, is likely to surprise us.

Mery Turiel invites us to ask ourselves the questions that she asks herself every time she takes a plane and has to overcome her fear of flying while 'losing control of the situation' and putting herself in the hands of other people (the pilot, the stewardesses and personal flight): "If this flight called life, ends right now … Do I have things left to change? Do I regret anything? Have I made the most of everything? Did I say I love you everything I would like? ".

Do you dare to answer these questions yourself?
