The world is changing and it seems that, in many ways, it is doing it for the better. While there are some minds that continue to be closed tight and reeking of mothballs, there are others that are beginning to open up and that is always a sign that there is hope. The type of examples that children receive from industries as powerful as porn or video games has long been questioned(Several recent news endorse that concern) and now, with feminism in full swing, there are many voices that begin to raise the need to educate from equality also in these areas. And it is that, the enormous influence that they exert on the minds of the little ones who have a whole series of videos at hand that, at least they are unrealistic, makes us consider what ideas we are promoting among them.

That is why a group of mothers from the United Kingdom, fed up with the 'crap' that their children see on the Internet, have decided to step up and make a porn movie, yes (because it is inevitable that they will see it) but REALISTIC and from a perspective feminist . To do this, before they had to see themselves what the kids had access to online and were totally horrified: relationships based on rape, humiliated and violated women … not to mention the idea of the idealized bodies that they represent and that they only generate more insecurities. "If my son treated a woman like that, he would kick his ass," explains one of those women.

The youngest tend to replicate what they see because they have it normalized, especially at a very early age. They interpret that reality is what they see on their mobile screens and given the lack of sexual education in schools and institutes they take these sources as reliable references . Well, these mothers, who have also participated in the recording of a documentary for Channel 4 (a British channel) in which you can see the entire process they have followed to record the film.

"Pornography does not represent normal women, actors and actresses who use deceive children . They have to realize that it is not normal," explained one of them. Its objective is "to generate a debate and encourage conversations between parents and children about it."

The documentary will premiere on Wednesday March 20.
