Both the kitchen and the bathroom are two rooms where the disorder is installed so richly and there is no one who can take it out of there … But all is not lost. With the tricks of the protagonist of the Netflix series Let's order with Marie Kondo!, You can prevent disorder from taking over.
Do inventory

One of the principles of the KonMari method is to take inventory and review every corner (however high or hidden …). In this way you become aware of everything you really have, and you can decide what is really necessary and what is dispensable.
Group things
Group things
Another of its essential keys is to gather and group things. Many times we have, for example, the dishes distributed between the kitchen and the dining room or even hidden in other auxiliary furniture because we do not know where to put so many plates and glasses. By gathering and grouping them, we realize everything we have and can make decisions about it.
Throw away the useless things
Throw away the useless things
Once you have taken inventory and have gathered all the things you have, you have to get rid of those that do not work or are not going to use for one reason or another. It is the basis of the method of the author of the bestseller The Magic of Order.
Do it all at once
Do it all at once
Yes. To make ordering easier for you, Marie Kondo advocates that you propose to do it in one go. Don't fall into the trap of only ordering the pantry this week, the refrigerator the next … If you prolong it in time, you run the risk of throwing in the towel early.
All by hand

Once you get down to work, the first thing to keep in mind is that things should be in sight and within easy reach. If you don't see them or don't have access to them, you even forget that you have them, and the only thing they do is to accumulate dust.
Simplify the way you organize

"By removing excess visual information, you make the space more peaceful and comfortable," says Marie Kondo.
Establish hierarchies

Whatever you use less, put it on the higher shelves and back. What you wear every day, on the lower shelves and forward. And to take advantage of the heights without having to overcrowd things, use bridge-like structures to create small auxiliary shelves. That way you have no problem getting everything you need without messing up the rest.
Take advantage of space and compartmentalize
Take advantage of space and compartmentalize
The lack of space in the kitchen or bathroom makes us pile things in any corner. Take advantage of the walls by placing small shelves, bars or rails (a towel rack can be used for both the bathroom and the kitchen). Use bars, hooks, and baskets to get the most out of kitchen and bathroom cabinets, including doors. And compartmentalize the drawers to avoid chaos and have everything close at hand.
And in the bathroom, too
And in the bathroom, too
You can use the same kitchen strategies in the bathroom. From hooks and rails to magnetized bars, such as those used in the kitchen for knives, to hook forks, tweezers …
Both the kitchen and the bathroom are two spaces where clutter settles without you realizing it and there is no one to take it out of there … But all is not lost. Following the principles of Marie Kondo, the protagonist of the Netflix series To order with Marie Kondo! and author of the bestseller The Magic of Order, we have found the solution. Here you have everything you need to know to organize the kitchen and bathroom, maintain order, and make the most of space by following the KonMari method.
Under the sink
The cabinet under the sink or hand basin is often a mess due to the complicated shape of the pipes. A solution for a better and more orderly use of space is to install removable shelves and organizers.
- Bar. If you don't want to complicate yourself too much, instead of opting for specific equipment for this furniture, put an extendable rod like those of the shower curtain and use it to hang spray bottles or other items from it.
- Hooks. To make the most of the space, put some hooks on the inside of the furniture doors. Hang the measuring spoons, cloths, mittens … You will have everything at your fingertips and very organized. It is important that you put the hooks in a place that is between the shelves so that the doors close properly.
- Baskets At the bottom, place plastic baskets or boxes with more cleaning products organized by groups (those from the oven, the bathroom, the floor, the medicines …).
Take advantage of the walls
If the lack of space in the kitchen or bathroom causes you to pile things on the counter and on the sides of the bathtub, causing a feeling of chaos and disorder, take advantage of the space that the walls offer you. Place on them small shelves, bars or rails (you can use a towel rack for both the bathroom and the kitchen) and hang from them, pans, cutlery, cloths, towels, mirrors. Just by clearing the countertop and other clutter-trapping surfaces, your kitchen and bathroom will look neater.

More functional refrigerator
Place a platform or turntable on one of the shelves and put the sauce and condiment cans that are usually hidden in a corner of the refrigerator on it. Just turn the tray slightly to find the mustard or mayonnaise without having to go through all the shelves in search. Discover more tricks to organize the fridge.
Take advantage of the cabinets
We often underuse kitchen and bathroom cabinets both deep and high and forget that doors can be very useful too.
- Covers. Put rails on the inside of the cabinet doors and insert the covers between the door and the rail, resting them on the handle. So they won't bother you anymore in cabinets or drawers.
- More space. To place more plates, cups or glasses, and also be easily accessible, you can create a double tier with a bridge-type shelf.
Useful magnets in the bathroom too
The bar magnets are used often hung on the kitchen wall to keep knives in order, but they can also tell you the very useful in the bathroom: you can paste them forks, tweezers, scissors … For a greater sense of order, instead of a rigid bar you can use flexible magnetic tape and stick it inside the bathroom cabinet.
