I am Carme, the editor-in-chief of CLARA. If you have sensitive and reactive skin like mine, surely you are not for recommendations. In fact, although at CLARA I have the opportunity to try many creams, I am usually very reluctant to change products because I know how easy it is to have an allergic outbreak.
When I say that I am afraid to try new creams, it does not mean that the new cream is "bad", but that its formulation does not suit my skin, but it may be perfect for someone else. In fact, for me, it is sometimes frustrating, because there are brands whose body products work very well for me and make my skin feel comfortable throughout the day and yet I do not tolerate their face creams. What do I trust then? And more when I have verified that although it says that it is formulated for sensitive skin, it is non-comedogenic and has been tested by dermatologists, it does not mean that it will go well for me. It's clear why I don't want to experiment too much …
But recently I crossed the border of the 50s and I had to change the cream yes or yes because I was beginning to notice that the ones I was using and that had worked well for me for a long time, were now “short”. My skin felt more dehydrated, duller, less juicy … After some failure or creams that I have loved but whose price is beyond my budget, I have found some creams that I love and they are going very well for me at the moment. I am being very very faithful to them and I am going to share it with you, but … since what works for me does not have to go well for you, if you can, my advice is to go to your perfumery and get a sample to try the cream before the (let's see, they go well, but they don't give them away …).
