"Lost in the forest", a story by inés díaz gómez

Anonim

The crisis made me return to the town where my grandparents lived. Where so many afternoons I played in the forest, where I bathed in the river … A most incredible landscape. But a most uncertain life change.

He wasn't really sure what he was going for. I was leaving behind a job in a company that has now disappeared. A failed marriage … Everything had gone up in smoke. I didn't count on finding Charles, who had left her native Cambridge and a life that I thought was a dream to get into true nature, a very laborious but authentic life.

We greet each other timidly at the only store in the far core of town, for calling it somehow. And it was a crush on both sides.

He located my house thanks to the help of several people, since they knew me since I was little, and he came to see me one afternoon with a Battenberg Cake, he told me how to break the ice, and that's how we have been in this remote town, lost in the forest that looks like Hansel and Gretel's, because it's a fairy tale, a year and a half now.
