Tidy up your bathroom with Marie Kondo
Tidy up your bathroom with Marie Kondo
At this point there are very few people left on the planet who do not know who the guru of order par excellence is. If you already fold your clothes vertically and organize your accessories by categories, it's time to go to the next level. It is time to put into practice the tricks to organize the bathroom (and kitchen) with the Marie Kondo method.
The ideal bathroom
The ideal bathroom
This is how Marie Kondo imagines the ideal bathroom as she captures it in her book Happiness after order (Aguilar). The keys are to classify everything in our bathroom and keep the essentials. It is about maximizing space by sorting by categories and saving vertically whenever possible. Pay attention because the following bathroom organizers will help you (and a lot) to make your bathroom perfect.

Everything inside the closet
Marie Kondo recommends that if we have a large closet in the bathroom, everything is stored inside it so that the surfaces that are visible are clear. For this you can use baskets and boxes like the ones you see in the image. She also advises drying the sink every time it is used (no excuses!), Take note of how to clean the bathroom thoroughly in 20 minutes.

How to keep the bathroom in order following the Marie Kondo method
- Pick and Drop: Go through all the products you store in the bathroom one by one. Set aside all those that you do not use and those that are old and distrust their condition.
- Keep only the essentials: If you have too many of the same products, a good idea is to donate them to someone who needs them and keep the essentials.
- Sort by categories: If you have drawers in the bathroom, apply the basics of the KonMari method: store by categories and place in an upright position. The bathroom organizers that we propose in the gallery will help you a lot.
- Maximize space: Take advantage of the height of the furniture that is located under the sink: add boxes at different heights to store all your products and accessories.
- Always dry sink : Establish a strategy to always keep the sink area dry. As simple as reserving a towel to clean the sink after using it.
- The basics always in sight: Store toilet paper in a basket or box. If we find a package that fits well in our closet or shelf, it can be left directly in the package.
- Feminine hygiene: Store your feminine hygiene products in a wicker basket or cheery box.
