We interviewed Teresa Vela, Facial Care Brand Manager at NIVEA, to tell us about the new Makeup Remover Under the Shower, considered by the readers the Best Beauty Launch at the 2016 Clara Awards.
What does this new Nivea product offer us?
Nivea Make-up Remover Under the Shower is the first formula designed to cleanse the skin and remove makeup, including mascara, at the time of the shower, leaving the skin soft and cared for, without a feeling of tightness. It integrates makeup removal and facial cleansing in a single gesture, revolutionizing the makeup removal routine and turning a routine task into a very pleasant and refreshing experience.
What technology and ingredients does it combine?
Its revolutionary formula is based on a new technology, which includes hydrogel and oleogel, ensuring effectiveness to remove makeup and mascara, and smoothness and care for the skin. The water-based ingredients facilitate rinsing and the oil-based ingredients combine special lipids to remove makeup with other active ingredients that care for the skin.
How should it be applied?
It is best to apply it on dry skin, starting with the eye area, and massage gently until the mascara is completely dissolved. Afterwards, the product is also spread over the face and neck, rinsed well with lukewarm water and the residue is removed with the help of the fingers. The makeup disappears, and the skin is clean and with a comfortable feeling of softness.
