The makeup brushes you need
- Brush to apply makeup base. You have two options, the flat almond-shaped or the short round ones. Both are used to put liquid bases, but only the second can be used for compact ones.
- Brush for blush . Having the widest ones is more than enough, but if you like to sculpt your cheeks, you can have a slightly smaller one to apply the blush in the center of the cheekbone.
- Contouring brush. These brushes are somewhat stiffer than the rest because they have to blend very well to integrate all the colors.
- Highlighter brush. They can be fine, but the most common are fan-shaped and are specially designed to blend liquid highlighter and powder highlighter very well.
- Brush for correct makeup. They are tiny and flat.
- Brushes for eye and eyebrow makeup. The most compact brushes are to put the shadows and the loosest to blur them. The bevels are used for eyeliner and eyebrows.
- Brush for translucent powder or bronzer. They are the widest of all, since they have to apply a very small amount of product and do it all over the face.
