I have bought the conga robot vacuum cleaner from amazon and this is my opinion

Ever since a good friend, who lives alone and usually has a pretty neat house, told me how delighted he was with his robot vacuum , he had been thinking about buying it for me. He did not stop praising it because unlike other more expensive models, the one he had bought on Amazon, the Conga, which is the best seller on the platform, in addition to vacuuming, mopping and scrubbing. And for me, knowing that I can save each and every one of the steps that I usually take to have a clean floor, was a pretty big advantage. So in the end I made up my mind and placed the order. What has happened since it came to me, has been this.

Amazon's best-selling robot vacuum cleaner, the Conga

I already knew people who had another of the 'good guys', the Roomba and the truth is that everyone seemed quite delighted with the invention, especially those acquaintances who also have pets. It is always fun to see the cat taking a walk on the Roomba but I, who do not have animals, was not entirely clear that it would take advantage of it. But it turned out that it was.

The first advantage of the Conga compared to other robot vacuum cleaners is that it is cheaper but not for that reason it is of lower quality. In fact, it has a lot more features than these, which only aspire. The first thing the Conga does is draw a map of your house that you can see in an App directly on your mobile phone. You can put barriers if you want it not to enter a specific room and program it to start working without you being at home. It didn't happen to me, but other buyers say on Amazon that the map is never saved and that every time they turn it on, it maps again

Does it clean all the corners well? I would be lying if I said that it does a thorough cleaning like we can do with a manual vacuum cleaner. It is true that it has brushes that attract dirt from the corners where the robot, due to its shape, cannot access but does not hunt everything. Regarding the mop function and the scrubbing function, they go quite well, the problem I see is the same as before. For a refresher, well, for a thorough cleaning, take out the mop.

As cons I would say that the battery sometimes does not give to vacuum the whole house at once, to scrub it does not give anywhere and that I do not live in a mansion of the Prince of Bel Air precisely. But hey, the thing knows how to go back to its base on its own to recharge itself and, if it has the map engraved, it picks up where it left off. Another thing that does not convince me is that you have to be careful with the cables because sometimes they get tangled and you can mess it up, so you have to remember to clear the floor beforehand.

For me it is perfect as a complementary vacuum cleaner, so that once a week I give a quick review of the whole house and thus avoid lint from starting to greet you in the hallway on Tuesday or Wednesday. But later, on the weekend I keep using the manual vacuum cleaner (well okay, every two weeks if I'm lazy). Save work, that is clear and you have the cleanest house (ideal for not dying of embarrassment if unexpected visitors appear) so I am already thinking of getting his first cousin, the Conga window cleaner. Surely it does not leave the windows like my grandmother armed with ammonia but better than me, I play whatever it is, yes.
