Spring makeup trends

Chanel

One of the makeup proposals that we liked the most for next spring is that of Chanel: red lips and well-defined eyelashes. The shade of red is very high, almost coral, and the eyes are made up with silver shadows, very discreet, which give a great luminosity to the look. To top it off, the eyelashes, with an extra dose of mascara on top and also on the bottom.

Prada

In the Prada fashion show they also used mascara tubes and tubes, making the models' eyelashes the only protagonists of the makeup look; the rest, in nude tones.

Versace

The catwalk always shows the most extreme versions of the looks that later hit the streets and this type of eyeliner is one of the best examples. It has not only reached XL dimensions but also its color is bright green. We predict that colored eyeliners will return but that their shapes will be smaller (and flattering). Also that they will be the only protagonists of the look since they must be accompanied by a soft makeup like this one that we have seen in Versace.

Givenchy

Much more discreet is this other outlined, fine, in black and with a slight corner. The differentiating note is put by touches of iridescent shadow on the tear and the gloss on the lips of a natural tone. It is a perfect look for everyday.

Moschino

The makeup that Moschino proposed in his Spring-Summer 2019 collection has caught our attention, and it is that it has marked 90s tints, especially for the lip liner, something darker than the lipstick. Once again, we see that the iridescent shadows in the tear duct will return to illuminate our eyes in one touch.

Hermes

Another catwalk makeup proposal that we can wear daily is Hermès, which combines well-combed eyebrows with a bitten-effect lip tone and a few touches of blush. To replicate this effect on your lips, you have to dab your lipstick with your fingertip.

Dolce and Gabbana

Much more resounding was the look that Dolce & Gabbana proposed. The key is in a very well defined burgundy lip shade with a hint of highlighter on the cupid's bow and nose. Another of its strengths was the white outline of the water line. Without a doubt, it is a makeup that can be easily replicated for the night.

Isabel marant

The no make up is one of the trends that has triumphed the most on the Spring-Summer 2019 catwalk. But like everything that seems simple, it has a trick. Isabel Marant's is to define the eyebrows to perfection and then give them a tousled touch. The complexion is perfect and that can only be achieved with a light foundation and concealer.

Valentino

Another who proposes that makeup be almost invisible is Valentino. In his case, the key to success is a very well-blended blush and black makeup on the upper eyelid water line. It is a simple gesture that can enhance the look without almost being noticed. Again, the iridescent touch in the tear, essential.

Max mara

Here the makeup is not obvious either, but it is already starting to be a little more marked, especially in the eyes, which are made up with different shades of brown eyeshadow, and with the cheeks, a terracotta tone that extends below the cheekbone.

Also in Max Mara we saw how the lips achieved a little more prominence than the eyes, but they did so in the same tones as the eyes. It seems that the brown lipsticks return but always in a matte key and without excessive outlines. In other words, the 90s are back but with a renewed air.

Fendi

Much softer is the Fendi proposal that prefers to highlight the lips with a very subtle shine on a face without imperfections.

Alexander McQueen

McQueen also proposes a no make up look in which the eyebrows are the ones that get all the attention: thick, straight and well outlined.

Guy laroche

Eyebrows were also the protagonists of Guy Laroche's catwalk looks, but for different reasons, the make-up artists dyed them pink. And we thought that Rosalía had pulled this idea up her sleeve! It is very difficult for us to see this trend on the street but perhaps during summer festivals more than one dares with eyebrow tints.

Makeup trends Spring-Summer 2019

Lips . The lips are usually one of the strong points of any makeup and this season we will go from the most striking to the most discreet. At Chanel , for example, they propose that we experiment with a very intense red, almost coral, in a matte finish. At Dolce & Gabbana they bet on the most sophisticated burgundy and at Hermès they propose to create a bitten lip effect. In Moschino and Max Mara we have seen a return to the brown tones of the 90s and in other shows such as Prada , Valentino or Isabel Marant they opt for matt nude tones or with a discreet shine.
Eyes . The eyelashes are going to have a lot of prominence next spring but the ones below will also get makeup; We have seen it in Chanel and also in Prada . Versace suggests that we mark the eyes with bright green eyeliner and Givenchy that we stay with a minimalist version of the cat eye. What most of the proposals coincide is that the look must be illuminated with iridescent, white or silver shadows or eyeliners.
Face . The commitment to not make up has been widespread and a success. In many firms the blush is almost non-existent but in others they have tried to give a good face effect with pink tones in Valentino and terracotta in Max Mara .
Cejas . They are going to take a lot of prominence and, far from going back to the thin nineties eyebrows, we are left with the thickest and most marked. We have seen it in Alexander McQueen especially and in Guy Laroche who have dared to make them pink.
