Makeup mistakes we all make

You don't prepare your skin

That you go in a hurry and crazy is not an excuse, friend. To hydrate the skin with a little day cream or apply a primer (both face and eyes) takes less than two minutes. You don't prep your lips

It seems silly but a previous exfoliation helps remove dead skin . And, while you put on your makeup, keep moisturizing balm on your lips so that it works little by little.

That makeup base doesn't have your tone

You have the habit of trying the color of the foundation on your wrist and no, it does not have the same tone as your face at all. Wouldn't it be better to use it directly on the face to know if it is really your tone or not? Try it on a small part of the jaw , blend with your finger and if it disappears, it's yours.

You blow on your brushes ALWAYS

WRONG. FATAL. We know that more than once you have removed the excess product from your brushes and brushes by blowing them, when in reality it is enough to tap on a surface. It is not necessary to give all the germs possible to a tool that you are going to pass on your face later.

Cream on powder products

And then don't be surprised if patches are created. We never apply liquid or cream products on skin laden with powder products. They don't get along very well in that order . If, for example, you want to apply a little cream bronzer, do it before and fix it with powder (but never the other way around).

You apply the concealer wrong

Crazy bronzer

Here it is as easy as thinking about where the sun hits your face directly . Because THOSE are the parts that have to be more tan in color: The cheeks, the upper part of the forehead, a little on the nose and on the chin. Apply sun powder in areas that do not need it, it will add years to you.

You apply blush without rhyme or reason

Finishing up like Heidi (with raging red cheeks) is not a good idea. In fact, applying the blush is as easy as smiling and seeing where your apples are to know where you have to apply it. Of course, the direction of the brush will be determined by the shape of your face.

If you go overboard with the illuminator …

They are all very beautiful and those of us with a magpie complex cannot resist so much light in a few grams. But things as they are, when you spend three towns with the illuminator it shows. You have to think the same as with sun powders and determine where the light falls directly on your face. You don't wait for the mask to dry

You have just stained above the eyelid when applying mask and have already gone to give yourself with your finger to remove the stain. ERROR. The only thing that you get this way is to extend it and stain more parts. You have to be patient and wait for it to dry out a bit . You'll see how, once you're done, removing it will be easier and less damaging to your look.

Things you do wrong when you put on makeup

The biggest mistake , from our point of view, is not preparing the skin as it deserves. Think that your face is a blank canvas and that it is better if it is smooth and clean. To do this, you should first clean it thoroughly with your usual cleanser, exfoliate a little (at least once a week), balance the pH with a little toner and, finally, apply a moisturizer or a primer.

And speaking of primers, are you choosing your makeup tone well? You don't want to look like a Selena Gomez at the MET Gala, so you better do it wisely. Do you remember when it began to be rumored that the color of our nipples determined the nude lipstick that would suit us best? Well, it's the same nonsense as saying that your foundation shade is tested on the wrist. ERROR. The doll doesn't have the same hue as your face , so … how about you try it on her?

But going back to the unsanitary, we have to ask you to stop blowing on your brushes to remove excess product. It is spitting at a tool that you are going to pass over your face later . The excess is removed by tapping the brush on another surface, you yourself will see how all the excess falls without problem.
