It happens to all of us, the good weather arrives and we are in a hurry to show off our legs, feet and cleavage. We already told you some time ago how to wear a nice neckline and we told you about the myths about the (so helpful) razor hair removal. And today it is the turn of the feet.
Loved and hated in equal parts, they are one of the areas of our body that we have the most neglected in winter and that we teach the most in summer. So that this contradiction does not take its toll on you, we have compiled in the gallery a series of 14 tricks so that showing off beautiful feet is not an impossible mission. And, how else are you going to wear your favorite sandals of the season?
In addition to these tips, you should not forget that your feet deserve basic care whatever the time of year.
To each problem, its solution
- Dry and hard. It is especially noticeable in the heels (whiter and thicker due to the accumulation of dead cells). Hydrate them with foot cream (better at night, so that the cream does not activate sweating).
- Excessive sweating and bad odor. It affects 1 in 4 people. To combat it, wash your feet daily and use an antiperspirant, it reduces the secretion of sweat and contains antiseptics that destroy the bacteria that break it down. Also put it inside your shoes.
- With blisters. They are formed by friction and pressure with the hard surface of the shoes. To prevent them, first protect possible areas of friction with a dressing. If they have already formed, cover them with dressings (one daily) until they dry on their own. Don't pop them because they can get infected.
- Mushrooms. If you have a tendency to suffer from them, wash your feet daily with an antiseptic soap and dry them very well, especially between the toes. To avoid contagion, do not share a towel and always wear bath sandals in public places. If the nails have been affected, a specific product must be used for at least 4 weeks.

- On top. Place your thumbs on the instep and the other fingers holding the base. Gently run your thumbs across the space between the finger bones up to the ankle.
- On the floor. Place your thumbs under your toes and massage in a circular motion toward your heel. On the arch, apply more pressure with your thumbs to loosen up. Finish by stretching and massaging your fingers one by one.
Avoid fluid retention and increase the flexibility of your feet
Move them! Take advantage if you are on the beach and walk barefoot through the sand and the sea. This will also help soften the corns. If you are more of a pool, get on the edge, lie on your stomach and kick with your feet without taking them out of the water. Also try circling the air slowly for a minute and repeat in the opposite direction.
