Take advantage of the space
As you may have deduced, the room in the photo is not the one in my house, but to illustrate what I mean, it works for me. Having a proper nightstand, in which we can leave the things we need in the period of time that goes from before sleeping until we wake up in the morning, is important. So when I moved to the apartment where I live now, seeing that I had little space to put a small table , it worried me. Okay, it's not a life and death issue, but a comfort issue.
None of the small tables I saw fit me - did I say my room is VERY small? - so we finally decided to put a couple of those Ikea shelves on each side. Issue? That they fall short … I lack space! Luckily, my dear mom, who's always on the hunt for the best home gadgets and organizers, showed me a storage "pocket" that would perfectly complement my bare bedside table and take up little space. She bought it on Amazon and it didn't cost her more than € 15.

€ 10.99Storage pocket
I call it "storage pocket" because I don't know what technical name to call it and I think this term does it quite justice. This in particular is the one my mother bought and, a week later, me. In it, you can keep whatever you want to have more at hand such as the book you are reading now, your glasses, your mobile - it has a hole so that, while you charge your phone, you can have it well organized - the tablet … on the bedside table your night light, the alarm clock and a box of tissues, for example.
In my room I have a bed with a trundle and it fits well and does not move - it is even cat proof, checked! - but it works just as well if you place the pocket flap between the mattress and the box spring.
The one I bought is in light gray but you also have it in black . And as it may be that this does not convince you, or that it does not match the walls of your room, bed, etc., I have looked for some more "pockets" so that you can choose the one you like the most. You have them bigger, smaller, in other colors, with hooks … Which one do you prefer?

Do you love order?
Do you love order?
I do not consider myself a fan of order especially but it is true that I like to have everything well compartmentalized and in place. I love having it all in boxes and making it look pretty, but neat. That is why you will understand that I hate having all the makeup thrown in a drawer or on top of the bathroom and that at the time, I needed an organizer to help me put some order in the beauty chaos that reigned in my sink.
Luckily, my colleague Laura made a selection of some of the best makeup organizers from Amazon, Asos, IKEA … to make my search much easier and I found THE organizer I needed. Wonderful!
