#Retoclara: the plate method

Anonim

In order to follow Dr. M.ª Isabel Beltrán's diet, it is not necessary to weigh food or count calories, you only need to know the Plate Method. It is one of the secrets of #RetoClara and we want to share it with you. Having to weigh all the ingredients makes it difficult to follow a diet. On the other hand, a visual method like that of the plate makes things much easier.

How does it work? Half of a flat plate should be vegetables, raw or cooked, or both. A quarter of the plate corresponds to carbohydrates: pasta, rice, potatoes or legumes. And the other quarter corresponds to protein: turkey, chicken, fish, egg, tofu, etc.

If you follow this method you will not get bored. There are so many ways to combine these three sections that dieting is not tiresome, because the ingredients change from day to day.

For dessert, always opt for fresh fruit, unsweetened skimmed yogurt (you can sweeten it with cinnamon if you like) or homemade compotes made over low heat and without sugar or in the microwave, like Laura, who never has time for the chupchup.

Establishing an orderly and balanced menu is essential to lose weight. If you want ideas, discover the menus for this week, which include breakfast, mid-morning snacks, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner for a whole week.
