The actress gave her coup at the last Oscars with a great Atelier Versace dress and an afro hairstyle very much in keeping with the 70s disco air of the model.

14: Elle Fanning brings a tail

The Vivienne Westwood that the American actress wore with her long painted tail is one of the most excessive but at the same time the simplest models that we have seen this year on a red carpet.

13: Blake Lively, Hollywood Diva

The dress that the American actress wore at this year's Golden Globes gala reminded us of the golden age of Hollywood, when actresses were all mystery and glamor. The dress, made in velvet and with gold metallic mesh straps and pockets, is signed by Atelier Versace.

12: Reese Witherspoon, full color

The actress took a risk with color to go to the Golden Globes gala. Yellow is related to bad luck in show business, but the result is bright and flattering. The bathtub neckline with a central opening and the draping together with the opening of the skirt elongate Reese's silhouette, which measures only 1.56 meters. The model is signed by Atelier Versace.

11: Mandy Moore, Cleavage V

The gauzy chiffon dress signed by Naeem Khan that the actress wore at the Golden Globes was deceptively simple. It has three elements that make it stand out as a model: its evident super sexy V neckline, the cape sleeves with subtle transparency, and finally, the color, a deep navy blue instead of the obvious black.

10: Jennifer Lawrence, Sophisticated Dancer

For the Venice Film Festival, the actress chose a Dior model, a signature of which she is the image, with a layered tulle skirt with a transparency effect and interspersed embroidery. Spectacular and perfect.

9: Paz Vega, sobriety and excess

What we love about the model that the Sevillian actress wore at the Goya is the sobriety of the swan sweater contrasting with the spectacular volume of the feather skirt. The model is signed by Jorge Acuña.

8: Brie Larson, deep red

The model that the Californian actress chose for this year's Golden Globes conquered us not only for its color - a dark red almost maroon - but also for its classic cut that wraps the waist with crisscross chiffon strips, with a background of rhinestones and a slightly flared skirt to the feet. A beautiful and very flattering Rodarte signature design.

7: Emma Stone, flapper style

The inspiration for the 1920s was the one chosen by Emma Stone for one of the most important looks of the year, the one she wore to collect her Oscar for best actress. The gold Givenchy, fully embroidered and with a beaded fringed skirt, conveyed luxury but at the same time simplicity. Image of 10.

6. Kirsten Dunst and retro glamor

A Dior model in the purest New Look style of the 50s was chosen by the actress to triumph at this year's Oscars. We love the curved neckline, the flared skirt, and the asymmetrical length. Elegance and sobriety in its purest form.

5: Doutzen Kroes, silver glitters

A luxurious fabric fully embroidered in silver rhinestones and a sober but extreme line due to its long train make this Balmain dress - worn by the Dutch supermodel at Cannes - one of the most memorable of the year.

4: Amaia Salamanca, gothic mermaid

The Spanish actress triumphed at this year's Goya with this dress signed by Pronovias. The long-sleeved, mermaid cut model, with a deep neckline both in the front and back, was made in a sumptuous, spectacular black sequin fabric that made her shine as the best dressed of the night.

3: Jennifer Lawrence, sophisticated crochet

The transparencies of this sexy Atelier Versace dress that the actress wore at the British premiere of the film Mother! we love them because they are provocative but not vulgar. A deserved third place on our podium of elegance.

2: Nicole Kidman, all red

2: Nicole Kidman, all red

The actress triumphed at this year's Emmys and not only for winning the best actress award but for the success of her Calvin Klein dress. With a fitted body and a very flared skirt, it stood out for its original silver lurex strap tied in the shape of a necklace. The actress is very irregular when it comes to dressing on the red carpet and this year she has also worn an outfit that has made her appear in the ranking of the worst dressed.

1. Emma Stone, with a lot of star

1. Emma Stone, with a lot of star

At the top of the podium we find the most awarded actress of this year. Her role in the movie La, La, Land has made her step on a multitude of red carpets covered in spectacular looks. We stayed with this tulle dress with embroidered stars signed by Valentino that she wore at the Golden Globes. Beautiful.

The great events of the show, such as the Oscars, the Goya awards or the Golden Globes, are followed by everyone, and not only by knowing who has won the award this year, but by seeing the models that the nominees have chosen and the guests to attend the event.

They are wonderful dresses from great designers that create fashion debates. Who was the most elegant of the night? Which designer is the most successful? Who has skated?

In Clara we have reviewed the looks that most impacted us this 2017 and we have discovered a couple of interesting things.

Our favorite designer

This year Atelier Versace wins by a landslide . The designers are widely distributed, but the Italian firm monopolizes 4 of the 15 looks on our list. The next is Dior with 2 of the styles, and the other firms do not repeat. We have to highlight that the two most elegant of the Goya awards chose Spanish firms for their outfits: Amaia Salamanca, by Pronovias, and Paz Vega, by Jorge Acuña, were the two winners of the most prestigious photocall on the national scene.

We want to be mermaids

And it is that the dresses that we liked the most follow the so-called mermaid cut, fitted up to the hips and flared from there. The super flared skirts also triumph and the drama of the long tails has been present this year among the best dressed.

The shine, a plus

Lavish fabrics embroidered with rhinestones or entirely made of sequins always add up to the whole when it comes to standing out on a red carpet. The textures that give drapes, feathers or ethereal chiffons are also a constant of the most outstanding dresses. A good neckline, opening or transparency well placed that gives a sexy touch without detracting from the elegance of the model are also points in favor of the chosen model.
