Walt Disney Animation has published on its YouTube channel the first trailer of Frozen 2 , the long-awaited sequel to the 2013 film. According to what we are told, the film will be released on November 22 but will not arrive in Spain until the 29th. That day comes - yes, we know it's an eternity - and to make our wait more bearable, we can see the new trailer looping.
The first installment of Frozen was the highest grossing animated film in history , grossing more than $ 1.27 billion worldwide, and no wonder! A movie with such empowered, brave and independent protagonists, with just the right touch of adventure, humor and drama, can only be a smash hit! Do you think Frozen 2 will be able to beat the record for the first one?
In the trailer we see Elsa, her look –which reminds us of Julia Roberts's latest outfits–, her hair and that attitude that we like so much, trying several times to cross a huge wave, using, as best she can, her powers. The synopsis of the new installment is not yet known but we have brought out the crystal ball and we dare to say that it will have some kind of relationship with autumn - well, this looks quite obvious with the whole theme of leaves and brown tones -, the thaw and, probably, with climate change. What do you think?
We don't make you wait any longer, here's the official trailer for Frozen 2 .
The reality is that the trailer is darker and darker than you might expect and the only thing it does is that our desire to see the new Frozen installment increases considerably.
In this new film, I dina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad repeat voicing the main characters –in the original version of the film– and Evan Rachel Wood ( Westworld ) and Sterling K. Brown ( This is Us ) they join the cast. The direct of the film also repeat so now it only remains to see if Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck manage to repeat the success of the first installment, which surely they will!
And remember that if you liked the trailer, drop it and share this post with all your friends fans of Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and company.
