After almost a decade working non-stop, we can say that Chris Hemsworth is one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood. But now the Australian interpreter has said enough and has decided to take a break from the world of cinema to spend more time with his children and his wife, Elsa Pataky.

"Right now I'm at home and I'm going to stay here. For the next six months I'm going to spend time with my children and my wife. I'm just going to make meals and drop off and pick up the children at school," Hemsworth says in one interviews with the Men's Health Strength Sessions podcast and talks about Pataky and the three children he shares with her: India Rose, Sasha and Tristan.

"After the promotional tour of Avengers I had a moment where I said, 'Oh, what now? I'm unemployed, what's up now?'" Explains the actor. "And then I thought: 'No, this is the problem. I thought that if I did not enjoy the present and kept looking only to the future, I was going to miss everything I was experiencing,'" he adds.

Turns out, the actor wants to be home while renovations are completed on his $ 8 million mansion in Byron Bay. "I told my wife that I would take a break to be more aware of the works at home. It is possible that I will extend this time to twelve months just to be here and be more involved," he says.

"I've done a lot lately so I hope I can do some drama - some simpler things," concludes Hemsworth. This year we have seen the actor in the films Avengers: Endgame and Men in Black: International and last year in Bad Times at El Royale, Andy Irons: Kissed by God, Avengers: Infinity War and in 12 Brave. Come on, you definitely deserve a vacation.
