Origami crown
Origami crown
To make this homemade Christmas ornament you will need decorative papers in different motifs and colors, fine craft paper, white glue, a string, beads and scissors.
First we will make the big ball
First we will make the big ball
To make the main ball, cut seven 6 cm circles, fold in half and glue half of one circle to the middle of the next to complete the ball.
Below the small balls
Below the small balls
With the bigger ball made, we proceed to make smaller balls repeating the dynamics of the previous one. This time we will use 2.5 cm circles. Once you have all of them create a garland by passing the string through the center of the balls.
Tassel
Tassel
On craft paper, cut a 10 x 1.5 cm strip. With the scissors cut the fringes as you see in the image. Roll it up and glue the end.

Once you have made 16 identical origami figures, it will be time to fit the ends of each figure into a star.
Origami Home Mobile

A simpler version of our origami crown that we just taught you to make would be a mobile with balls to decorate any corner without much effort. Follow the same steps without actually assembling the origami star and voilà! Decorate your home for a Christmas full of magic.
Wool pineapples
Wool pineapples
The new wool is a natural, noble and elegant material, ideal for your Christmas decorations. The materials needed for this Christmas craft are: felting wool, foam base, fine felting needle, hot water and mild soap, embroidery thread, beads, scissors and a needle.
Start by felting the wool
Start by felting the wool
Separate the wool and filter it with the needle until it has an oval of 9 cm long and 4 cm in diameter. At the top make two petals . Separate a small strand of wool and fold it. Prick with the felting needle and round the top to form a petal.
Make the petals
Make the petals
Make 25 petals. With wet and soapy hands, rub the petals to make them compact. Let them dry completely.
Order the petals
Order the petals
Arrange the petals from smallest to largest. Following this order and starting at the top, join them to the oval by picking at the base of the petals.
Shape the pineapple

Once all the petals are attached, poke the base with the needle to give it the slightly rounded shape that you see in the photograph.
Embroider the petals one by one

With the blue thread, embroider on the outer face of the pineapple's largest petals, a fly-stitch pattern (shaped like a "Y").

Embroidered socks
Embroidered socks
We continue working with wool! The materials needed to make these small sock-shaped ornaments are: wool for felting in pink and ecru, foam sheet or eva rubber for the pattern, hot water and neutral soap, bubble wrap and a large bamboo mat (sushi) , fine knit tulle, red and pink embroidery thread, scissors, needle and a towel.
First steps
First steps
Start by drawing and cutting out the sock-shaped template on foam or foam . To optimize resources we will make two socks joined at the center (you will get a "C" shape, if you have doubts, look at the later photos to see it clearly). Next, separate pieces of pink wool by stretching with your hand, do not cut it, and cover the pattern that you have previously made.
Working on the socks
Working on the socks
In this image you will see perfectly that we have joined two socks to speed up our work. We continue working on the template , after wrapping it with the red wool, wet with hot water, and cover with fine knitted tulle . Finally we rub gently with soap. Then turn the piece and fold the ends. Make the other side the same.
Cover the sock in white

Work with wet hands until the yarn fits the pattern . Make a second blank layer covering the pink wool.
Separate the socks
Separate the socks
It's time to separate the socks! With the scissors cut in half, you will get two booties . You can now remove the pattern. Felt the inside by rubbing with your fingers.
Final touches
Final touches
Rinse with water, mold the final shape and let it dry. Once we have our little woolen booties or socks we are going to move on to the most skillful part: embroidery.
Embroider the sock to decorate it
Embroider the sock to decorate it
This may be the most complicated step if you have never embroidered before, but it is very simple and after today you will learn for sure! First, embroider the top edge of the booties with a scallop stitch . Start working from left to right: form rows with small stitches that connect at the base, passing the thread under the needle, forming rings. Thanks to this point, the edge of our socks will have a firmer consistency and the result will be more beautiful. Next we will combine the red and pink embroidery thread to embroider some stars on the surface of the boot. You can use the devil stitch which is very easy to do since it faces first a large cross (in red thread) and on top of it a small one (in pink thread).
