Say cheesecake out loud and a legion of fans will come out saying, "I love it!" But you might also hear a few: "But I can't afford it because I'm on a diet."

Well, the restrictions are over. Our super light cheesecake has almost half the calories of a traditional cheesecake . And instead, double the taste.

Yes Yes. Truth of the good. Using the light version of the cream ingredients (cheese, milk and yogurt), and substituting the cookie base or shortcrust pastry for an apple base, you have a 100% guilt-free cheesecake with 0% of regrets.

In addition, the incorporation of currants to the cream and the apple as a base, makes it much sweeter and tastier without the need for added sugars or fats. Do not tell us that it is not to make the wave …

How to do it step by step

  1. Prepare the base. First of all, peel the apple, remove the core and cut it into very thin slices. Then cook them with 4 tablespoons of water and a half of sugar, stirring for about 2 minutes or so. And finally, remove them and let them cool.
  2. Make the cream. On the one hand, let the gelatin soak in water. On the other, mix 80 grams of sugar with the cheese until well mixed. Meanwhile, heat the milk and, when it comes to a boil, remove from the heat and add the drained gelatin. Then, stir for a moment, and mix it with the cheese and sugar preparation, as well as with the yogurt.
  3. Assemble the tartitas. Divide the apple slices into four baking rings. Add most of the washed currants and cover with the cream that you made in the previous step. And leave the resulting tarts in the fridge for about 3 or 4 hours to set. Once curdled, remove the rings and serve the decorated cakes with the rest of the washed currants.

And to decorate

Apart from the washed currants, you can also melt some dark chocolate in a saucepan and top the cakes with a few strands of chocolate on top. Delicious!
