Friend, what we are going to tell you today is going to change your life or, at least, your hair. We have found a product that repairs damaged hair, deeply nourishes it and restores shine. It's so good that when you try it, you won't want to stop using it! The ultimate proof of its effectiveness? That today is sold every TWO MINUTES! And it was also used by Audrey Hepburn herself. In fact, it was created for her. Find out what the Elasticizer is and why it will change your hair.

Why did Audrey Hepburn need this product?

In 1974, Audrey Hepburn and hairdresser Philip Kingsley (the same one who invented the term "bad hair day") began working together to create the world's first pre-shampoo treatment. During this time, Hepburn was hanging around a lot of movies and noticed that her hair had been damaged due to excessive use of the blow dryer and dye. She asked Kingsley to create for her a specific moisturizing treatment for hair like hers , that is, very fine. The product was named Elasticizer and he liked it so much that he always asked for bottles and more bottles.

In 1982 Kingsley began selling it at Saks Fifth Avenue (a chain of luxury department stores in the United States) and, three years later, the hairdresser appeared on the famous Oprah Winfrey show and revealed the names of the celebrities who used it daily. Since that time, its fame has not stopped growing and today it is sold every two minutes, and has become the favorite product of many celebrities such as Cate Blanchett, Georgia May Jagger and Rochelle Humes.

Why the Elasticizer will change your hair

Its star ingredient is hydrolyzed elastin , a protein that increases the elasticity of the hair and, therefore, gives it more flexibility and prevents breakage of the ends. Other notable ingredients are glycerin and castor and olive oil, which deeply hydrate hair and instantly increase shine .

How to use?

It is a pre-shampoo product and is perfect for repairing damaged hair , so it will work wonders if you have colored hair or if you have been abusing the irons lately. Simply dampen your hair and apply the cream from the middle to the ends. If you want, you can wrap your hair in a warm towel (thanks to the heat, the nutrients in the mask will be better absorbed) and wash your hair after about 20 minutes. It is recommended to use the product once a week or, if you see that the hair is very dehydrated, twice a week.

For cases where hair is severely damaged, we have found that the Elasticizer Extreme is also available. Its price is somewhat higher and you can also find it on Amazon.
