We spoke with Gregory Recoing, CEO of L'ORÉAL PARIS, about Masks with Pure Clays, considered the Best Facial Care of the Clara Awards 2016.
What are the benefits of the new masks?
Masks with Pure Clay have spectacular benefits for the skin. The best thing about them and their differentiating point is that they not only clean intensely, but also take care of the skin like a cream. They are a detox treatment that transforms the skin and gives us a good face instantly. Its formulas are designed for all skin types. What I like the most, generally, are their creamy and fresh textures that do not dry out the skin, and the super pleasant smell when using them.
What are clays?
Each mask combines the power of 3 clays with a specific ingredient. The clays are: kaolin known to trap impurities and absorb excess sebum; Montmorillonite, with anti-blemish action, and Moroccan lava, which illuminates the skin and improves its texture.
How are the three Pure Clay Masks different?
The black mask stands out for its detox effect, it is enriched with carbon that acts as a magnet, trapping impurities from the skin. The green one, with eucalyptus, is purifying and leaves the skin shine-free, ideal for combination and oily skin. The red one combines the clays with red algae, and thanks to its microgranules it exfoliates the skin to smooth it and minimize pores.
