Homemade masks for the face: step by step

  • Hydrating mask with strawberries and honey: crush about 4 or 5 strawberries and mix them with honey to create a paste. Apply the mixture on your skin and leave it to act for approximately 20 minutes and then remove it with cold water. Both strawberries and honey soften and hydrate the dermis a lot.
  • Exfoliating mask with almonds: crush a couple of almonds and dissolve them with a tablespoon of honey and another of lemon. Apply it gently and let it work for 15 minutes on your face. Remove it with warm water. Although they are natural products and with many benefits, if you have very sensitive skin it is better to avoid this type of mask, because it could cause irritation.
  • Mask for oily skin: mix one tablespoon of plain yogurt, two tablespoons of oatmeal and two tablespoons of orange zest to create a mixture. Leave it on for 15 minutes and say goodbye to shine for a while, as these ingredients help reduce sebum production. If you have oily skin, you should not abuse the masks. It is recommended that you use them only once a week.
  • Anti-stain mask: crush half a cucumber and mix it with a little parsley and a few tablespoons of sesame oil. Wait 15 minutes and remove it, you will visibly reduce the stains.
  • Mask for blackheads: mix a couple of tablespoons of olive oil with lemon juice and apply the mixture to your face, leaving it to act for 15 minutes. If you have very sensitive skin, we do not recommend using these ingredients because they can cause irritation.
  • Firming mask: cut a couple of pieces of peach and mix them in the mixer with the white of an egg. Let it act on your skin for 20 minutes and remove the mixture with cold water. The peach adds vitality to dull skin.
