Not all infusions are good for the same or are prepared the same. That is why we tell you which ones will suit you best for each disorder and the best way to take them. In our selection of infusions we have taken into account that they are easy to find in supermarkets, pharmacies or Amazon, because sometimes it is difficult to go to a herbalist, where they can have more elaborate mixtures. Although they do not usually have contraindications (except in some cases that we tell you about), it is always better to consult with a doctor or pharmacist about our particular case so that there are no problems if we are taking according to what medication or according to what previous health problems we suffer

Passionflower is an ideal plant if you have trouble falling asleep. You can take it alone or in combination with other plants such as linden, lemon balm or chamomile. Rooibos, the soothing infusion that calms your nerves

Although known as "rooibos tea," it is not a tea because it is caffeine-free (actually caffeine), so instead of stimulating the nervous system, it actually helps calm it down. You can take the rooibos whenever you want, even after dinner, and it will help you feel more relaxed throughout the day and sleep better. You can find rooibos alone or with flavors (vanilla, berries …). You should not boil the rooibos but add a heaping tablespoon to a cup of water just boiled and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before filtering.

Dandelion, against fluid retention

Dandelion is very rich in flavonoids, which helps fight fluid retention. You can take 2-3 cups a day, avoiding the hours closest to going to bed, so that it does not interfere with sleep if you feel like going to the bathroom. And you shouldn't take it if you have liver or bile problems without first consulting a doctor. To make the infusion, put water (a cup) on the fire and when it starts to boil add a dessert spoon of dandelion and let it cook for about 5 seconds. Turn off the heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before straining and serving.
