400 g of whiting fillets without skin
1 onion
1 red bell pepper
1 zucchini
2 tomatoes
300 g of loose flour
25 g baker's yeast
1 egg

Olive oil

There are as many types of dumplings as the imagination allows. And ours, with whiting, onion, pepper, zucchini and tomato, are a perfect strategy for straining fish and vegetables into a much more tempting dish than the typical boiled or steamed fish and vegetables. Few resist our dumplings. They are delicious!

How to do them step by step

  1. Make the dough. First, mix the flour together with the yeast dissolved in 125 ml of warm water until you achieve a dough. While continuing to knead, add 125 ml of oil and salt. And finally, let it rest for about 45 minutes.
  2. Prepare the ingredients for the filling. Clean the fish and pat dry. Wash and grate the tomatoes. Point the zucchini and cut it into small cubes. Also wash and cut the pepper. And peel and chop the onion.
  3. Sauté and cook the filling. Sauté the onion together with the pepper in 3 tablespoons of oil for about 5 minutes. Add the zucchini, stir and fry for about 2 more minutes. Add the grated tomatoes, season and cook until their juice evaporates. Finally, add the whiting and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring and breaking it up.
  4. Make the dumplings. Roll out the dough that you had previously prepared. Make 8 circles and place a little filling in the center. Close the dumplings by folding them in half in the shape of a half moon and pressing with your fingers or with the help of a fork along the entire circular edge. Finally, paint them with beaten egg and bake approximately 40 minutes at 180 or .
