Original vs. Clone

If we only looked at what we like a garment at the time of (and money was not a problem) we would clearly stay with Michael Kors pants compared to Zara, but since it is not like that and it is not a garment for every day … we keep the clone. In the case of the coat, even if we had 8,000 euros left over, we would still be betting on Bershka's.

The same thing happens with the striped sweater and with the checked shoes. We like the expensive ones more, but with those € 1,550 that both would cost us, we would rather have a good trip.

At this point in winter we are all very clear about the star garments of the season. The best of all is that to wear them you don't need to resort to luxury pieces because our favorite low cost stores have some clones that are nailed to the originals. And the best of all is that they do not appear their real price.

Fashion clones Winter 2018-2019: cheap clothes vs. faces

Yellow coat. One of Michael Kors hair has caught our attention but if we have to choose its low cost version almost attracts us more . We have found it in Bershka and although it is the same color, the design seems much more wearable in our day to day.
Leopard shoes. The leopard print is one of the essentials of the season and we have chosen to wear it in high-heeled shoes, which always give a very chic touch. As it is a complement that can be fashionable one year in and another , it is best not to go too high and get the cheap version.
Silver pants. We have loved some of J.Brand but since it is a garment that we can only wear on special occasions, its high price takes us back a bit. Luckily, in Zara we have found some with a similar metallic finish that have a much more reasonable price.
Gray sweater. Good quality jerseys can last for years. However, paying more than € 300 for one can be a bit excessive for most of us so we return to stick with the cheap version that also has shapes that are also fashionable.
