Just because we can't go to a beauty center or spa doesn't mean we can't try to recreate it at home. Before starting a treatment, I usually prepare all the elements well so that the experience is as sensory and relaxing as possible.
- Appropriate clothing: The best is a strapless top to be able to also work the neck and neckline. Gather your hair with a turban and remove any rings, earrings, or bracelets that bother you while performing your ritual.
- Prepare the tools and products: Put them in a basket so you don't waste time looking for them during the ritual. Also have towels, sponges, and whatever devices you use handy to help you. It is also very important to have very clean hands.
- Create a warm and relaxing atmosphere: In the last part of our cleaning it is important to relax for a few minutes, so if you like candles, soft music or incense, it is a good time to use them. You also need large towels and a blanket to avoid getting cold when relaxing, I have an electric heating mat that I love to put on my back while the mask takes effect.
