Oddly enough, tiramisu can also be suitable for all audiences, including those of us who try to keep the line at bay.

The secret is to opt for a light tiramisu version like ours, which is super light - it has almost 200 calories less than the traditional one - and no less delicious for that. How? Easy: slightly reducing the amount of yolks, liquor, sugar and sponge cakes. And substituting the mascarpone for cottage cheese, which is much less caloric.

So you can calmly fall into the temptation because this tiramisu is 100% guilt-free and 0% regret-free.

How to do it step by step

  1. Beat the yolks and add the cottage cheese. First, beat the 3 egg yolks together with half the sugar. And then add the cottage cheese, and whisk it all together.
  2. Assemble the whites and add to the cream. Whip the whites, with a pinch of salt and the remaining sugar for about 3 or 4 minutes. And then, add them to the previous preparation with soft and enveloping movements, so that they do not fall.
  3. "Get drunk" the cupcakes. While doing the previous steps, dip the cakes in a bowl with the coffee and the tablespoon of liquor so that they get soaked.
  4. Assemble the tiramisu. In a mold, put half of the cakes covering the base. Then spread half the cream on top. Then, cover the cream with a layer of the rest of the cakes. And finally, a layer with the rest of the cream. And let it rest in the fridge for about 4 hours.
  5. And ready to like. When you are going to serve it, sprinkle on top with a thin layer of cocoa powder.

Lighter still

If you want to lighten it even more, you can substitute the soletilla cakes for whole grain cookies without sugar or slices of whole wheat bread.
