Come on, if you don't surrender to its charms right now, it's because you're not from this world …

How to do it step by step

  1. Prepare the yogurt sauce. Peel the beets and grate them with a coarse-hole grater. And then mix it with the yogurt, and season with salt, pepper and a few drops of oil.
  2. Mix the vegetables with the tuna. First, peel the onion and cut it into feathers. Then, wash the lettuce leaves, dry them and cut them into fine julienne strips. And finally, drain the tuna and mix it with the onion and lettuce, seasoning slightly, and adding the lemon.
  3. Assemble the vegetable sandwich. Remove the crust from the bread slices if desired and spread 4 of them with the yogurt and beet sauce. Then, spread the tuna, lettuce and onion mixture on top, cover with the remaining slices of bread and serve a couple per person.

If you don't have yogurt for the sauce …

You can replace the yogurt with mayonnaise; It will also be rich but more caloric. But if, on the contrary, you want a much lighter version still, change the normal yogurt for skimmed yogurt.
