What is the 'tweed balayage' technique and why will you want to wear it in your hair?

The term 'tweed' is common in fashion and we all have in mind the fabric that made the Maison Chanel famous and that is so elegant with its timeless and chic air. Well, this savoir faire has been extrapolated to the world of beauty, and more specifically to that of highlights and universal balayage.

We think it is a wonderful coloring that would enter our selection of wearable hair colors for the summer head on, although, all said, it is ideal for the whole year.

We are talking about the 'tweed balayage' technique , which seeks that naturalness and luminosity that is now a trend in the hair world, but which is more elegant, since it escapes a little from the very obvious contrasts with a more subtle play of color that interweaves reflections.

The 'tweed balayage' update the traditional balayage highlights for those women who are tired of always having a very dark root and lighter ends. Combining two shades of highlights (or more) and blending them with the base of natural hair. It can be lightened a bit on darker hair to avoid too obvious a contrast.

This creates an almost uniform tone without being it and a dimensional result thanks to the play of tones (whether cold or warm).

These new balayage dye from a few centimeters from the root (not from the middle of the mane like the classic balayage) and is combined with some finite lighter highlights, like babylight from the root, which are intertwined with the darker locks. In this way, the hair is illuminated without losing naturalness since it respects the nuances of the hair , a technique that is also perfect for hiding gray hair.

The 'tweed balayage' adapt their tonality to blonde, chestnut and brunette hair with what is a very universal and super personalized technique.

A perfect technique for working with 'hair contouring', which is now so fashionable, which adds to the long list of natural highlights that we will all order in our hairdressing salon this summer and also for autumn.

The technique requires some maintenance, since when coloring several shades of wicks from almost the root, the dye must be raised every four weeks, but when dyeing by strands and only giving light to very fine strands it is much less aggressive than a total coloring. So taking care of the hydration a little more, we would not have to do much more to maintain the beautiful highlights at home.
