Juan Luis Londoño , better known as Maluma , is about to make his big screen debut: the Colombian singer will play Jennifer Lopez's unfaithful boyfriend in the movie Marry Me! It is an adaptation of Bobby Crosby's graphic novel and illustrated by Remy 'Eisu' Mokhtar , and we already know that its production will begin in October of this year.
Jennifer Lopez will play a famous singer who discovers during a concert that her fiancé (Maluma) has been unfaithful to her with his assistant. JLo wants revenge: he takes action on the matter and decides to marry a stranger (Owen Wilson) . The film will be produced by Universal Pictures and directed by Kat Coiro.
Maluma already has experience as an actor thanks to his videos (the 25-year-old singer even appeared in Madonna's single, Medellín ) and, finally, he will be able to fulfill his dream of debuting on the big screen.
The Bronx diva doesn't stop either. He hasn't released his latest film Hustlers yet (we won't be able to see it until November 8) and he's already started work on his next project.
