Ingredients:
10 sardines
1 clove garlic
200 g of roll goat cheese
50 g of toasted almonds
1 bay leaf
100 ml olive oil
25 ml white vinegar
1 teaspoon black peppercorns
Salt

If you opt for some good sardines (even canned, they are very healthy) and serve them on a mix of lettuce and some other ingredient, you will have this sardine salad ready in less than a message in a WhatsApp group sounds.

Ours, for example, we have made with pickled sardines and some balls of goat cheese and almonds that are prepared in the blink of an eye. One of the easiest, fastest and cheapest recipes that exist and that, in addition to being delicious, is also very healthy. Come on, it is beneficial on all sides and, on top, it cheers up the palate.

How to do it step by step

  1. Prepare the sardines. If you choose to make them fresh, wash the sardines, removing the scales, guts, and head first. Then, separate the fillets and remove the central spine. Finish removing all the remaining bones with the help of tweezers, and immerse the fillets in a bowl of ice water for half an hour to bleed them.
  2. Make the marinade. First, pour the olive oil into a saucepan, add the peppercorns, the garlic clove and the bay leaf, and heat it. Then, remove it from the heat and let it warm. Next, add the white vinegar and a pinch of salt. And finally, drain the sardine fillets, place them in a container that closes hermetically, bathe with the prepared marinade and leave them to marinate for a few hours.
  3. Make the cheese balls. Cut the cheese into 12 pieces and, with your hands greased in oil, shape them into balls. Then, chop the almonds, coat the cheese balls with the bite, and reserve everything in the fridge.

Plate and ready to taste

To finish assembling the plate, you only have to clean the lettuce leaves, dry them slightly and arrange them in four individual bowls. Then add the drained sardine fillets and the battered goat cheese balls. And season with a little of the marinade.

A good idea to go faster is to throw in a good pickled sardines or anchovies in vinegar. And replace the battered cheese balls with cured cheese cubes.
