How much good an exfoliator can do for our skin! Did you know that if you exfoliate regularly, your skin can go from being dull to bright and youthful ? And best of all, you don't have to spend a fortune because, although there are very good exfoliants on the market, in our pantry we have almost all the necessary ingredients to make a homemade exfoliant, and if we don't have them, they are easy to obtain. .
Scrub with sugar, honey, coconut oil and lemon (perfect for oily skin)
Ingredients:
- 5 tablespoons of brown sugar.
- The juice of half a lemon.
- 2 tablespoons of honey (the more liquid it is, the better).
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil.
Step by Step:
- Pour all the ingredients into a container and stir until you create a homogeneous mixture.
- With your face freshly washed (try to keep it still wet), apply the scrub and make circular movements. If you want, you can let it act for 15 minutes.
- Remove in warm water.
Oatmeal scrub (for face and body)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of ground oats.
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar (if you don't have it, you can use white).
- 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive or sweet almond oil (you can substitute coconut or even olive oil).
- 2 tablespoons of skim milk.
- Egg.
Step by Step:
- Put all the ingredients in a cup and stir them.
- Apply to the face and neck in circular motions. Repeat the same operation, if you are going to use it for the whole body - remember that the amount of mixture must be greater, so you should increase the dose of all the ingredients.
- Wash your face with lukewarm water to remove the mixture and pat dry with a towel.
Almond milk scrub
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of almond flour
- 1/2 cup of bentonite clay (natural clay)
- 2 tablespoons of whole milk powder (if it is organic, better, but know that any type of milk –also skimmed– works for you).
Step by Step:
- Mix all the ingredients in a container with a lid - it is worth a glass jar like those of legumes - and stir it until the mixture is homogeneous.
- Take about a tablespoon of the mixture and apply it to your face with a little water in circular motions. For an extra dose of smoothness, try adding a few drops of extra virgin olive oil or almond oil.
- Clean your face with cold water and pat it dry with a clean towel.
- Afterwards, hydrate the skin with cream, serum and eye contour.
